New Year’s 2024 fireworks captured on a DSi

While writing the another blog post and with New Year’s 2024 coming, I felt like doing something silly and random. I took some photos of the fireworks using my old Nintendo DSi.

The photos are objectively shitty since the DSi has a 0.3-megapixel camera. Despite that, these photos feel more meaningful than I would’ve taken with a modern smartphone or regular camera.

The last photos taken on this DSi were from 2014. Now, there are suddenly some new ones in 2024. I think I’ll find it funny to look back at these the next time I turn it on.
